1 | buzzzie links to smart devices like Alexa

At buzzzie, we love innovative technology! We link with various off the shelf smart home devices so that you can choose exactly which devices you want in your family home. Alexa is a fantastic, intelligent home feature that seamlessly links with our buzzzie app and makes tasks around the house simple. As Alexa uses voice recognition, when linked up with buzzzie, it is possible to call or shout for help for increased safety within your home.

For example, if someone vulnerable who is living alone, or who is home alone, has fallen and needs help to get back up but is unable to reach a phone or nearby buzzzie button, they can simply call to Alexa for help. buzzzie will jump into action using its intelligent location awareness system to contact the nearest family member in the network and alert them to the emergency.

2 | The buzzz-in feature lets you send predefined messages.

The buzzz-in feature allows you to send a simple message to one of your buzzzie friends. We wanted to make it quick and easy for you to react and connect in times when your friend’s status has turned into a red state.

Perhaps you’re concerned for a loved one in your network and want to send a quick, “Hi, are you OK?” message. buzzz-in makes it simple to reach out in these moments even in the busiest schedules. You can send predefined messages from your template list or create custom one time messages to send. Communication made simple. Watch this short video for more information on the buzzz-in feature.

3 | You can pause buzzzie at any time.

With buzzzie, we know how important your privacy is to you. That’s why with buzzzie app you are in control of what people see. You can set these permissions per person, or per group of people. So, if you don’t want some of your family or friends to see when you leave or come home, but you do want to let your other half know, then you can do this with ease.

You can pause buzzzie at any time with a simple tap on the pause button within the app. This means that you won’t be disturbed and your connections will not be able to see your status.

4 | buzzzie buttons can be placed around the home

Our app has safety at its core, and this is why we will be introducing our buzzzie buttons as part of our senior emergency alert system. While every page on the app has an emergency button that will automatically contact the nearest family member to the emergency, we understand our users may not always have their phone physically with them when disaster strikes or when an Alexa device isn’t within shouting distance.

Our durable, weatherproof emergency ‘push for help’ buzzzie buttons can be placed strategically around critical areas in the home such as the side of the bed and sofa, in the bathroom and kitchen and at the bottom of the stairs. As long as the mobile with buzzzie app is within the house (150m distance), then the buzzzie buttons can help kickstart the emergency alert system within buzzzie app. To understand how our emergency feature works you can watch this short video.

Why install buzzzie?
